Prospero Teaching are seeking to appoint a reliable and dedicated Lunchtime Supervisor in a vibrant and inclusive primary school located in the heart of Southampton. The school is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all pupils. The successful candidate will join the team and i helping to ensure that children have a positive and enjoyable lunchtime experience.

As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise pupils in the dining hall, playground, and other areas of the school during lunchtime.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils.
• Encourage positive play and interaction among pupils.
• Assist with the setup and clearing away of the dining area.
• Promote good manners and healthy eating habits.
• Address any minor first aid needs and report any incidents to the appropriate staff.

  Essential & Desirable Qualifications/ requirements:

• • Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.

• To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:

  • Hold right to work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide references upon request
  • Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
