Part-Time Accounts Assistant

Are you a accounts whizz with a passion for customer service? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a professional Part-Time Accounts Assistant to become an integral part of our client's small team based in Edenbridge.

What You'll Do:
As the Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Bookkeeping & Invoicing: Keep financial records accurate and up-to-date, sending out invoices and checking for discrepancies
• Chase Bad Debt: Follow up with customers to ensure timely payments, discussing payment plans where required
• Banking Duties: Assist with banking transactions and reconciliations
• Credit Notes Processing: Handle credit notes efficiently and accurately
• Customer Interaction: Assist with the financial team in taking orders and support colleagues as needed
• Stock - Assisting with adding stock data to the system

What We're Looking For:
We need someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to engage with customers. Your skills should include:

• Proficiency in bookkeeping and familiarity with Sage software
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• A customer-facing attitude with a knack for building relationships
• The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively

Working Pattern:

• Hours: Part-time, 3 days per week - either 9-5, 8-4, 8.30-4.30
