Job Opportunity: Full/Part-Time Dental Nurse/Admin

Location: St Neots (PE19)

Salary: from £13 - £14+ per hour (To Be Negotiated)

Responsibilities

• Preparing the surgeryEnsuring the surgery is ready for use, including setting up the treatment room and making sure all necessary supplies are available
• Sterilizing instrumentsDecontaminating instruments using a multi-stage process that may involve scrubbing, soaking, and autoclaving
• Assisting the dentistProviding support during procedures, such as passing instruments, removing saliva, and ensuring proper suction
• Maintaining patient recordsTaking notes during consultations and treatments, and collecting and maintaining dental and medical histories
• Educating patientsProviding oral health education and answering questions
• Maintaining a sterile environmentEnsuring the surgery is kept clean and tidy, and that health and safety policies are followed
• Managing suppliesOrdering dental supplies and managing stock
• Managing PPEEnsuring that all patient-facing staff have the necessary supplies, such as masks, gloves, and gowns
