Accounts Assistant

As a Accounts executive, you will provide accounts support to the company.

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing payments to Solicitors, Lenders, Clients and other third parties.
  • Taking payments from clients over the phone.
  • Processing bills
  • Petty cash
  • Answering queries from clients and colleagues
  • Purchase ledger
  • Credit cards
  • Credit control
  • Checking through reports to keep client accounts up to date with the SRA account rules
  • Archiving completed files
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Keeping up to date with the SRA Accounts Rules
  • Day end
  • Filing
  • Recording disbursements from Land Registry
  • Collating payments made online and recording them on the ledgers
