This role has a starting salary of £20,464.50 - £21,867.50 per annum (pro-rata to £40,929 - £43,735 FTE), working 18 hours per week.
Runnymede Locality Team have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Occupational Therapist to join their friendly and support team based at Runnymede Borough Council, Civic Centre, Station Road, Addlestone, KT15 2AH. The offices are close to local amenities including cafes, banks and a gym with a multi-storey car park close park.

The occupational therapy team are valued members of the locality team and work closely with our social work colleagues and partner agencies. The team actively promotes regular OT CPD activities and training sessions to encourage continued staff development.

About the Role
Are you passionate about moving and handling? If so, we can offer you plenty of opportunities to hone your skills in this arena, working closely with care providers, our residents, specialist back care advisors for non-paid carers, reps and OT colleagues. You will have access to a well-equipped equipment store and a training room to practice your skills. Surrey also offers excellent regular moving and handling training and CPD opportunities. Surrey County Council has a vision of optimised single-handed care keeping our service users/residents and their carers at the core of any moving and handling outcomes.
You will have direct access to our stakeholders, working closely with the Borough Council and Home Improvement Agency where conversations and problem solving is actively encouraged. Joint visits with surveyors are also easily achieved. Regular training is available with opportunities to become DFG champions with networking and further training opportunities.
