We are looking for a Social and Emotional Support Worker to join a mainstream school with a dedicated SEN provision in Bath. This long-term supply role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students who require additional support.

Key details:

  • Location: Bath
  • Key Stages: 1 and 2
  • Contract: Long-term supply
  • Start Date: ASAP, pending vetting
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

The Role:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group social and emotional support to students within the SEN provision
  • Help students develop coping strategies, improve confidence, and engage positively in their learning
  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to implement tailored intervention plans
  • Play a key role in the education and training of students with additional needs

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience working with students with SEN or SEMH needs in a school or similar setting
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships
  • A commitment to ongoing education and training to support students effectively
