Part-Time Payroller

• Hourly Rate: £14.00 - £16.00
• Location: East Farleigh - access to your own transport is essential
• Job Type: Permanent and part-time (14-15 hours per week, ideally Monday and Tuesday or Monday to Wednesday)
• Working Arrangements:  Office based

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Payroller to manage a weekly payroll processing for 60 employees. This role requires a strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to handle payroll responsibilities efficiently. The ideal candidate will be someone who is looking for a long-term position and can handle manual calculations as well as transitions between software systems.

• Manage the complete weekly payroll process for 60 employees from start to finish.
• Perform manual payroll calculations.
• Handle NI contributions, process annual leave, maternity pay, sick pay, tax code changes, salary changes, and manage P45s/P46s.
• Assist with ad hoc tasks such as posting cash to the sales ledger.

• Proven experience in managing weekly payroll processes.
• Strong capability in manual payroll calculations.
• Experience with Sage 50.
• Familiarity with Sage 200 is highly desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Ability to maintain discretion and flexibility in handling confidential information,

• Competitive hourly rate equivalent to an annual salary range of £25,480 - £29,120 based on a 35-hour week.
