Hays are working with a dynamic business who are looking for a Part time Management Accountant to join their team on a part time basis and are flexible around these hours

Your new role

• Preparation and analysis of monthly/quarterly and annual consolidated management accounts and financial reports
• Lead preparation for the company annual audit
• Key contributor to finance project supporting the Director
• Take responsibility for ensuring the financial processes, systems and controls are operating correctly
• Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
• Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies
• Provide variance analysis and commentary to budgets/forecasts vs actuals
• Monitoring of company long term cash flow
  requirements
• Review of group credit control and aged debtors
• Review of VAT returns for submission
• Review of prepayments / accruals / general journals
• Provide financial analysis and guidance to department Managers on performance status
• Monitoring and management of foreign exchange
  
  What you'll need to succeed

You should be an experienced Management Accountant with advanced analytical and Excel skills and a positive and self motivated approach
