Account Manager

Our client, a family run company who offer washroom solutions are looking for an Account Manager to join their team.

The company is looking for an energetic Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of customers by supporting the Regional Account Manager. You will be responsible for professionally supporting head office and site level relationships with some of the company’s largest public and private sector accounts and building connections.

The core responsibility is retaining the existing business as well as to exploit the growth potential within these accounts.

The responsibilities of the Account Manager include but are not limited to the following:

  • Regular proactive calls to customers sites and head office locations to build strong relationships.
  • Identifying opportunities to grow the customer accounts you will be managing.
  • Booking appointments for the regional account manager.
  • Quoting and sending proposals for identified opportunities.
  • Managing pricing/margin to ensure GP% is maintain and improved where possible.

Skills, Experience & Key Candidate Attributes:

  • Previous experience in proactive sales-based roles.
  • Passionate for speaking to people.
  • Hungry and persistent for opportunities and exploring growth potential with a high degree of autonomy and passion for achieving results.
  • Highly organised individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and as a team.
