Payroll Administrator

Salary: Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) £34,500 per annum. Pro rata salary of £23,000 for 25 hours per week.
Working Hours: Part-time, 25 hours per week
Location: Slough - Hybrid working available

Key Responsibilities

• Timesheet Management:
  • Coordinate and process timesheets, liaising with HR and Operations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Upload timesheet information to the payroll system, resolve queries, and identify ways to streamline the process.
• Payroll Support:
  • Assist in processing monthly payrolls and act as a backup for the Payroll Manager once confident in the role.
  • Process starters, leavers, payroll changes, sickness, and absences.
  • Update bank details in the payroll system based on HR system changes.
• Accounting Assistance:
  • Assist with banking tasks and process journals in the accounting system.
  • Analyse general ledger data for quarterly PSA settlements and P11D submissions.
• Ad Hoc Duties:
  • Provide general support to the finance department as required.

You are a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. You thrive in a team-oriented environment and are eager to contribute to the smooth running of payroll and finance operations.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Previous payroll experience, including timesheet and data processing.
• Familiarity with payroll systems and accounting platforms.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
