The Role - Customer Service Assistant (part-time) Basildon

In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for their valued customers, providing them with an exceptional experience every time they reach out. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with their inquiries, ensuring they receive accurate information and support promptly.

Please note that this is an office based role.

Responsibilities Include, but not limited to;

• Handling the customer queries and escalation of refunds and exchanges
• Processing purchase orders from external companies
• Assisting with telephone queries
• Replying to consumer queries via emails
• Managing sale queries
• Organising customer samples for the sales and marketing teams
• Picking and packing of stock from the small, in-house stock area, ready for courier pick-up
• Arranging DPD pick-ups and deliveries
• You may also be required to cover certain roles of the Customer Services Supervisor during holidays and sickness

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in customer service or a related field is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a friendly tone
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations gracefully
• Proficient in using computers and customer service software applications
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• A positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others

The Package

• Salary £23,000 - £26,000 (pro rata)
• Monday to Thursday 9:00am- 1:15pm Fridays 9:00am - 1:00pm (21 hours)
• 20 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata)
