Job Title: Part-Time Caretaker
Location: East London/Essex
Salary: £9,633 per annum (£12.35 per hour)
Hours: 15 hours per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday)

Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a reliable and dedicated Part-Time Caretaker to join the team at a high-end residential development in East London/Essex. The ideal candidate will take on a variety of caretaking tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the premises, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with general maintenance duties. The role will require flexibility and a proactive approach to support the day-to-day running of the property.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of the premises, including communal areas and external spaces.
• Perform light maintenance tasks such as basic repairs and minor improvements.
• Ensure the property is secure by checking locks, windows, and doors.
• Report any major issues or required repairs to the management team.
• Manage waste disposal and ensure bins are emptied as necessary.
• Provide support in managing grounds and outdoor areas, including tidying and maintaining gardens.
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
• Carry out regular inspections to ensure all areas are well-maintained and safe.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Previous experience in a caretaking or maintenance role is desirable, but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to work flexibly within the set hours (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday).
• A practical and hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to perform manual tasks and some lifting.
• A basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
