Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant or Bookkeeper looking for a new opportunity? Are you confident working independently as well as collaboratively within a team? My client has an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper to join their friendly team. This company offers a welcoming office environment, 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays and Summer and Christmas staff outings!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily bank reconciliations.
  • Process supplier and customer invoices efficiently.
  • Manage supplier payments and staff expenses.
  • Reconcile credit cards with precision.
  • Oversee credit control processes to ensure timely payments.
  • Prepare VAT returns in compliance with regulations.
  • Generate regular reports for Directors.

Key Skills & Experience Required:
  • At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks software.
  • Highly organised with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
