Learning & Development Administrator

Salary: Competitive
Contract: Part-Time Permanent
Working hours: 30 hours (6 hours per day, Mon-Fri, to be agreed), with flexibility to work full days when classroom training is being delivered

If you’re looking for a part-time office-based admin role, have a really good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and can manage several projects on the go at once, here's a gem of a job supporting our small and dedicated Learning & Development function in a diverse and multi-site business with 850 employees, ranging from LGV drivers and office administrators to chemists and directors. We offer a broad choice of in-person and online training courses that touch every employee and include a comprehensive induction programme.

What you’ll be doing as Learning & Development Administrator

Part of the wider, super-supportive 14-strong People team at our Benson head office, with its modern training suite, you will: 

• Ensure that all training materials are updated and ready for delivery.

• Upload training records promptly.

• Help with the organisation and admin of external training events.

• Prepare delegate lists and invitations, distributing joining instructions and collating course documentation.

• Assist with the administration and facilitation of our brilliant Grundon in a Day and The Grundon Way induction programmes.

• Administer the compulsory LGV driver training courses, including scheduling and getting the training materials ready.

• Producing supplementary training material, e.g. workbooks, handouts, evaluation documents and in-house training certificates.

 
What you’ll need 

• At least one year’s office admin experience, ideally within a training environment. 

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.

• Patience and flexibility - there's inevitably some rescheduling due to cancellations. 

• Full valid driving licence.
