Part-Time Administrator

Location: Slough
Hours: Part-Time (4 hours per day) Monday to Friday (ideally mornings say 8am – 12pm, 9am – 1pm or 9.30am – 1.30pm)
Salary: £26,000 FTE (pro-rata based on hours worked)
Transport: Must be a driver with own transport due to location

Wonderful opportunity to join an international business based in Slough as an all-round office administrator. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a varied role and enjoys taking on a wide range of responsibilities and looking for a permanent role with part-time hours.

Reporting into the Administration Manager your key responsibilities include:

  • Assist senior managers with preparing spreadsheets and documentation.
  • Prepare and distribute lists for holiday periods.
  • Monitor and update schedules and calendars.
  • Support with organising events, meal bookings, and setting up facilities.
  • Act as the main point of contact for external partners and assist in coordinating projects and events.
  • Handle day-to-day enquiries via phone and email, ensuring messages are relayed promptly.
  • Welcome visitors and inform relevant staff of their arrival.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and coordinate delivery services.
  • Maintain stock levels of office supplies.
  • Coordinate bookings for vehicles, contractors, and events.
  • Maintain and update calendars with bookings and appointments.
  • Record and monitor maintenance requests, ensuring they are logged and completed.
  • Oversee key management, including issuing, replacing, and tracking keys.
  • Manage company vehicles, arranging servicing, MOTs, and repairs as required.
  • Handle procurement of office items, uniforms, and other essentials.
  • Track orders, process returns, and maintain accurate purchasing records.
  • Arrange travel bookings for staff through the company’s preferred providers.
  • Raise support tickets for IT issues and manage account setups for new staff.
  • Order and configure laptops and other IT equipment for new employees.
  • Ensure telephone systems are set up and allocated for staff use.
  • Assist with processing invoices and maintaining financial records.
  • Prepare monthly overtime reports and assist with calculating usage fees for various facilities.

Additional Duties

  • Update internal directories and coordinate event-related tasks, such as sending invitations or arranging supplies.
  • Support various internal and external events as required.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties in support of the team or management.

Please bear in mind that some of these duties are performed once a year or monthly and some daily.

About You:

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Intermediate Word and Excel skills.
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively supporting a team.
  • Must be a driver with access to your own transport due to the office location.
