Part-Time Accounts Assistant

About the Role:
On behalf of our client, a long-established company based in Brierley Hill, we are seeking an experienced Accounts Person to join their professional team. This is an office-based role, offering flexibility in hours and a friendly, collaborative work environment. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will play a key role in managing the company’s financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have experience in the following:

  • Payment Processing: Managing weekly and monthly payment cycles.
  • Year-End Returns: Preparing P60s and P11Ds, and managing pension contributions.
  • Tax and VAT Compliance: Organising tax obligations with HMRC and preparing quarterly VAT returns.
  • Management Accounts: Producing internal monthly management accounts for two trading companies.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in office-based accounts roles.
  • Strong knowledge of financial processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
