• Provide targeted support to students with SEMH, enhancing their educational and personal development.
• Work closely with teachers to implement effective educational strategies and interventions.
• Assist in the development and execution of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
• Support students in both classroom settings and vocational training areas, ensuring a cohesive learning experience.
• Engage with students to foster a positive learning environment, encouraging progress and participation.

• Proven experience as a SEMH Specialist Teaching Assistant or in a similar role supporting children with special educational needs.
• A deep understanding of the challenges faced by students with SEMH and a proactive approach to addressing these.
• Must possess a current DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a dynamic team.
• A strong commitment to going above and beyond in supporting the educational journey of students with special needs.
