HR Recruit is looking for an experienced HR professional to join an SME and work as part of a  HR team on a part-time basis.
You will support the Head of HR and wider team in actioning the people elements of the Strategic Plan, Organisation Strategy and EDI Strategy in addition to day-to-day transactional work.

You must have at least 5 years previous HR experience and live within 1 hour commute of London to be considered for this role.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide expert HR advice to line managers and staff
• Partner with key stakeholders
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
• Support the HR team in actioning the strategic plan, organisation strategy and EDI strategy
• Promote best HR practices within the organisation
• Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and training processes
• Handle employee relations issues and provide conflict resolution
• Assist in the creation and implementation of diversity and inclusion initiatives
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices
• Comply with all regulations and legislation related to HR

Person Specification

• Previous HR experience is essential to be considered for the role
• ‘Hands on’ experience of dealing with the full range of HR issues, combined with the ability to deal with strategic issues as necessary
• Proven track record of analysing HR metrics to identify trends and actionable insights
• Ability to advise on challenging employment issues, including dismissals
• Able to motivate teams, develop and maintain productive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
• A positive ‘can do’ attitude, resilience and adaptability in all work areas
