LOCATION: South West London
SALARY: Upto £30k FTE DOE

THE COMPANY

A housebuilder operating in London and the Home Counties, who have undergone significant growth over the past few years and are now about to embark on future growth. This organisation looks to invest in their employees and are looking for someone to grow and develop as the business continues to grow. This position is Part-Time with 3 full days a week. As the business continues to grow there is the possibility of full-time work in the future.

THE JOB

Due to company growth this organisation is seeking an experienced and dedicated Accounts Assistant. This role is perfect for someone who has great experience in accounts management and would thrive in the opportunity to take ownership of their role within the accounts team.

Your duties will include:

  • Oversee and manage the accounts inbox, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Process payments, invoices, income, and receipts with precision.
  • Enter financial data into their CMS for efficient invoice processing.
  • Reconcile accounts using Xero, maintaining accuracy and compliance.
  • Handle employee expense claims, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
  • Assist the accountant with various administrative duties and in preparing yearly accounts.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Strong and recent experience in bookkeeping and accounts.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to and learn new software
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
  • Familiarity with VAT and CIS requirements (training will be provided if necessary).
  • Experience with Xero
  • Good Excel skills
