Ashfield District Council have a great opportunity for a Disabled Facilities Grants Caseworker to join our team based in Kirkby in Ashfield. You will join us on a part time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £16,476 - £17,873 per annum.

We have an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and committed individual to join our Disabled Facilities Grants Team.

As a DFG Caseworker you will be the first point of contact for clients, supporting their needs, providing advice, and coordinating with other team members to facilitate home improvements and adaptations. The role is crucial in ensuring the customer has a positive experience and in the delivery of a consistent, high-quality service.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will be competent in the use of a range of IT packages. 

The role is part time, 22 hours over 3 days per week. The days worked are to be discussed and agreed.
