CLT currently provide many services to communities across the county of Cheshire, and provide family support in local schools, we are looking for an empathetic, committed individual to join our team of Family Support Workers. This role will be based between two primary schools - Great Budworth and Antrobus St Mark's.

Working as a Family Support Worker you will be based in a school setting, between Great Budworth and Antrobus Primary Schools, assisting and advising families experiencing short- or long-term challenges. Primary duties include assessing the needs of the children and families, providing support and empowering them to overcome the difficulties they are experiencing.

• Assessing immediate and long term needs
• Creating a plan of support based on a needs assessment
• Conducting regular caseload reviews with families during home visits to ensure that there are no issues at home
• Ensuring adherence to standards and legislation for confidentiality, equality and diversity
• Managing workload efficiently and scheduled commitments
• Keeping records and updating reports for their cases

The successful candidate will be organised and self motivated with experience in social work or similar field, along with safeguarding experience.

This role is subject to references and a DBS check.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £14.00 per hour
