ROLE: Part-Time Accounts Assistant

LOCATION: Outskirts of Maidstone

SALARY: £25k - £30k (pro-rata)

THE COMPANY

A growing construction company operating in the South East of England and London, are looking for a Part-Time Accounts Assistant. This position will be for 2/3 days a week on a temporary to permanet basis.

THE JOB

The Part-Time Accounts Assistant role will mainly focus on the input of invoices onto Xero.

Your duties may include:

• Oversee and manage the accounts inbox, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
• Process payments, invoices, income, and receipts with precision.
• Reconcile accounts using Xero, maintaining accuracy and compliance.
• Handle employee expense claims, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Strong and recent experience in bookkeeping or accounts position, ideally within an SME environment.
• Experience in inputting of purchase ledger invoices
• Ability to quickly adapt to and learn new software
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
• Experience with Xero
• Good Excel skills
