Our school supports KS2 to KS4 students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and we have been rated Outstanding by Ofsted since our inception.

As a Special Needs Education Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our students’ educational and personal development. You will work closely with teachers and other staff to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

• Provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs.
• Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Support students in developing social and emotional skills.
• Collaborate with the teaching team to implement individual education plans (IEPs).

• Experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a similar role or a transferable role.
• Confidence and a proactive approach to supporting children with special needs.
• Team Teach qualification is preferable.
• Must have a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
