HR Generalist & H&S Administrator

Our lovely Client based in Bromsgrove is currently recruiting for a HR Generalist & H&S Administrator to carry out the following:

Job Summary & Qualifications

To ensure that the group is fully compliant with employment law legislation, including all processes, procedures & policies.

Be able to mentor employees at all levels in all aspects of their capabilities within the working environment.

Visit all sites when required. (Bromsgrove & Birmingham)

CIPD qualified minimum level 5.

Key Tasks & Responsibility:

· Provide HR support, guidance and advice to managers, senior managers & directors, ensuring they achieve a positive commercial outcome, whilst managing associated risk at all Companies within the group.

· The instruction, coaching & management of the disciplinary and grievance process.

· All HR related procedures and processes, including the recruitment process in its entirety and onboarding.

· Responsible for the leavers process.

· Full maintenance of personnel records both physical and HR software

· Attend and minute all HR related meetings.

· Achieve optimal level of results by coaching & mentoring employees.

· Improve managers skills to handle people issues effectively & efficiently.

· Identify specific training & development programmes ensuring efficiency and succession.

· Implement annual performance appraisals.

· Drafting all HR related letters and documents.

· Prepare payroll for the Finance Director.

H&S Duties:

Support the Operations Director in the management of the Company’s H&S policies

Completing weekly check lists

Assisting/implementing H&S procedures across all 6 sites

Regular visits to all sites ensuring H&S compliance

Ensure all H&S files are up to-date

Hours of work:

Monday - Friday 8.30 - 4.30 with 30 minute lunch break

Salary is £32K - 35K

You must be qualified at CIPD level 5, if you do not have this qualification then your application will automatically be rejected

Multistaff £32,000 - £35,000 per annum, pro-rata Bromsgrove
