Salary: £24,249 FTE per annum

About the Role:
This role offers an exciting opportunity to enhance the student journey by supporting work experience opportunities. The successful candidate will collaborate with curriculum teams to plan placements, build employer connections, and ensure high-quality placement experiences that complement student learning.
The role involves working with students both directly and indirectly through a centralized platform that provides information and guidance on available work placements.
Main Duties:
- Source and support relevant work placements for students across study programs and T-Level courses.
- Ensure compliance with placement suitability, including health and safety assessments.
- Collaborate with curriculum teams to identify and secure high-quality work placement opportunities.
- Maintain a central CRM with records of all placements.
- Promote a centralized service for students to access work experience opportunities and guidance.
Role Objectives:
- Coordinate and record employer engagement activities within curriculum teams.
- Provide feedback to curriculum staff on placement outcomes.
- Conduct employer visits and placement reviews in line with college policies.
- Regularly check in with students on placement and update relevant college systems.
- Contribute to reviewing and improving placement policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar role and working with diverse employers/clients.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy (or willingness to undertake).
Other Information:
- This role is term-time only (40 weeks per year), based primarily on campus with some travel required.
