Part-Time Year 6 Teacher (2 Days a Week) - Southwark

Salary: Competitive and paid to scale

Contract: Long term, till at least the end of the academic year

Start date: January 2025

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 teacher to join our team on a part-time basis, working 2 days a week. The role is available until the end of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons to Year 6 students, with a focus on preparing them for the transition to secondary school
• Support pupils in their academic progress and personal development, ensuring their well-being and success
• Collaborate with other teachers to ensure consistent delivery of the curriculum
• Maintain high standards of classroom management and create a positive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Year 6 and familiarity with SATs preparation
• Passionate about working with children and helping them achieve their full potential
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
