Randstad Education is working alongside a wonderful primary school in St Helens to find a Year 2 Teacher who is enthusiastic, dedicated, and eager to make a difference. This part-time, 3-day-a-week position offers a great work-life balance while giving you the chance to inspire and develop young learners.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to Year 2 pupils.
• Assess student progress regularly to ensure each child achieves their potential.
• Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and support staff to provide tailored support for all students.
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting positive and respectful interactions.
• Stay current with curriculum updates and best teaching practices.
• Be ready to start immediately and make an immediate impact in the classroom.

What We're Looking For:

• Passionate and experienced teacher who loves working with young children.
• Ability to create an engaging and effective learning environment.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Availability to work 3 days a week during term time.
• Enthusiasm for creating a positive and inclusive classroom culture.
