Commercial Finance Analyst

An experienced Commercial Finance Analyst is required to join our client’s business in the manufacturing/food sector. Both full and part time (at least 30 hours per week) will be considered.

You will be supporting senior management and finance team colleagues by creating performance analysis, financial and commercial analysis and real time reports.

Key tasks will include:

• Analysis of business data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Pricing, market performance and trend analysis to assist with potential growth through forecasting.
• Sales and margin analysis.
• Preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly sales and KPI reports.
• Maintaining financial models to automate and streamline business processes.
• Conducting business research by gathering data, identifying options, performing cost-benefits analyses and creating non-routine reports.
• Business partnering with senior management to develop strategies to improve operational and financial performance.
• Supporting the commercial team relating to pricing models, market analysis, product sales, supply and demand forecasting.

Relevant experience is key for this role and you should have at least 3 years’ previous financial analysis background. Qualified, part qualified and QBE accounts professionals will be considered for this role.

Ideally you will have had exposure to consumer, FMCG businesses and be confident in communicating your findings and suggesting proposals.
