Business Development Associate (Technical and Events Production Management)

Part time - up to 20 hours per week

£30k pro rata with uncapped commission

Hybrid working with office based at B24, Birmingham

We’re looking for an ambitious Business Development Associate who truly wants a challenge of helping to grow a small but fast-growing company.

You will be tasked with developing new sales opportunities via mostly warm leads, but some outreach. This role requires telephone and office based sales.

We offer uncapped commission and flexible working.

Ideally you should have some experience of the technical and event production sector, but for the right candidate training can be provided. We love bright, fun and motivated individuals who can put a smile on our client’s faces. You should always strive to achieve more and be highly numbers focused. As a small team, you are a vital part of the success of the business.

The ideal Business Development Associate will be:

  • Comfortable with CRM tools to manage leads, track follow-ups, and maintain accurate records. Knowledge of basic marketing automation and task management is helpful to support sales processes.
  • Able to manage the sales process efficiently from initial contact to closing, balancing both warm and cold outreach as well as account growth.
  • Highly motivated by achieving sales targets and open to a flexible commission structure.
  • Can forecast sales with a strong grasp of key metrics. Experience in managing a sales pipeline to support steady account growth and meet targets.
  • Demonstrates thorough product knowledge, curiosity to learn, and care in managing account details. Ensures accurate information is communicated to clients.
  • Familiarity with the event production sector is ideal. Shows enthusiasm to learn if new to the industry
  • Works well within a small, fast-growing team, takes feedback constructively, and actively supports a positive team environment.

What you will receive in return:

  • Great starting salary - £30k pro rata
