Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified and experienced R&D Tax Manager to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preparing and managing R&D tax claims, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and client satisfaction. This role offers hybrid/remote working flexibility. The successful candidate will start immediately and work approximately 12-15 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the preparation and submission of the finance side of R&D tax claims, ensuring compliance with relevant tax legislation and guidance.
Collaborate closely with clients to gather required documentation and understand their R&D activities.
Provide expert advice on R&D tax credit eligibility and support clients throughout the claims process.
Review the technical reports to support R&D tax relief claims.
Liaise with HMRC as needed to address any queries or provide additional information.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant R&D tax legislation and industry trends.
Develop and implement best practices for R&D tax claim preparation and submission.
Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
