We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Tax Manager to join our client’s tax team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality tax advice, managing client relationships and ensuring compliance with UK tax regulations.

You will be managing a portfolio of trusts and tax compliance clients as well as providing ad hoc planning and advisory support to the directors.  This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned tax professional looking to make a significant impact within a reputable firm.

Tax Manager key responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for tax-related matters.
  • Provide expert tax advice on a range of issues, including corporate tax, personal tax and VAT.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant UK tax legislation and regulations.
  • Identify and implement tax planning opportunities to optimise client outcomes.
  • Review and prepare complex tax returns and computations.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring the firm remains compliant and competitive.

Tax Manager qualifications and experience required:
  • ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or qualified by experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a tax advisory role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Proactive and strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
