MINIBUS DRIVER - PART-TIME

MONDAY - FRIDAY SPLIT SHIFT: 07.00 - 09.00 & 15.00 - 17.00

£16,350 PER ANNUM

People Solutions are looking for a part-time PSV Driver for our client based in Failsworth, Manchester.

This is a permanent position, and you will be working approximately 25 hours per week.

You will not be working during school holidays.

You must undergo a DBS Check for this role.

Day to Day Duties

• Provide assistance for special needs children and cater for their needs to access our vehicles safely
• Demonstrate care and understanding for passengers and any medical conditions or needs they may have
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion of GDPR Regulations/Data Protection at all times
• Communicate effectively with our clients, passenger assistants and management team
• Inspecting and completing daily vehicle and equipment check via our electronic recording system
• Work in a professional manner complying with safe systems of work at all times
• Undertake regular assessments and training to ensure that as a team we offer the highest quality of service

Essential Skills

• Valid UK PCV D1 License
• CPC Card
• A minimum of three years driving experience (in the UK preferred)
• Living in the Manchester area and able to commute to the depot in Failsworth
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Good punctuality and reliability
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Good communication and problem solving skills
• A caring attitude towards passengers and an ability to show empathy and respect
• Willingness to undergo assessment and continuous training

Desirable Experience

• Previous PSV/Category D1 experience
