Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 DOE (pro rata)

Role Overview
As their Accounts Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the organisation's financial processes. From processing invoices and reconciling accounts to liaising with suppliers and supporting financial queries, your expertise will contribute significantly to maintaining robust financial operations.
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage financial data input and maintain accurate records using QuickBooks.
  • Process purchase orders, reconcile received goods, and resolve discrepancies with suppliers.
  • Raise sales invoices and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments, adhering to credit control procedures.
  • Handle and reconcile cash, cheques, and other payments, ensuring accurate banking.
  • Maintain organised filing systems, including scanning and attaching financial documents.
  • Act as the first point of contact for finance-related queries.


What We're Looking For

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Assistant role essential
  • Proficiency with financial software (experience with QuickBooks is a plus).
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting senior team members.
