Network Coordinator

Are you passionate about the voluntary sector and interested in improving mental health services?

The Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprises (VCSE) Mental Health Transformation Team are looking for an individual to join our team to run the Sussex VCSE Mental Health Network. The network brings together voluntary organisations across Sussex to enable them to be part of the transformation of adult mental health services. As network coordinator you would be responsible for the day to day running of the network and for organising network events and comms.

Your role will include:

  • Managing network membership, including developing strategies to increase numbers, and actively going out and finding smaller community groups and social enterprises that are not currently members.
  • Leading on event planning, including organising, and promoting online and in person events such as webinars and network meetings
  • Leading on network comms, including running the network social media channels and producing the network newsletter.

What you will bring:

  • Experience of running networks, clubs, or partnership groups, bringing organisations together around a shared purpose
  • Experience of engaging with and developing relationships with a diverse range of organisations.
  • Experience of disseminating information clearly, creatively, and effectively with different audiences.
  • Experience of producing social media content
  • Excellent writing skills, with close attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, with the ability to work autonomously and in a proactive manner.

Please Note: The salary for this role will increase to £27,128 per year pro rata from 1st February 2025.
