Teaching Assistant - Birmingham

Are you passionate about supporting children in their learning journey? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Birmingham on a long-term basis.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Work with small groups or individual students to provide targeted assistance, helping to close learning gaps.
• Promote positive behavior and create an inclusive learning environment.
• Assist with classroom organization and preparation of teaching materials.
• Support children with additional needs, including SEN, EAL, or those requiring extra pastoral care.
• Participate in school activities and contribute to a positive school culture.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience working in a school or educational setting.
• Hold relevant qualifications CACHE Level 2 or 3, or equivalent
• Demonstrate a caring, patient, and proactive approach to working with children.
• Be confident in building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
• Be available for a January start and committed to a long-term role.
