Semi Senior Accountant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing financial management and ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting. This position requires a strong background in accounting and proficiency in various accounting software. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Duties

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of financial accounting, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable standards.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and improve financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies while maintaining the integrity of financial data.
  • Utilise accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks for efficient financial management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that drive business growth.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support organisational objectives.

Qualifications

  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in financial management is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software including Xero and QuickBooks is required.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to mentor and develop team members effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
