Site Security Manager

This role sits within our Security business division which provides physical security guarding, access control, alarm systems and perimeter property protection, CCTV, mobile surveillance, and ANPR Technology services to a wide range of prestigious clients.
About The Role:
Days of Working: Variable shift pattern and rota amounting to 20 hours per week on a permanent, part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Take overall control of the security team and security cover of the site. This includes but not limited to the following.
- Manage the Timegate system and ensure it is updated on a regular basis
- Manage Timegate reports to ensure site rates and staff pay are correct on a weekly basis
- Manage site payroll queries
- Manage and plan staff rotas
- Manage agency cover and process agency submitted time sheets for payment
- Manage absenteeism including staff holidays and sickness
- Mange staff vacancies and recruitment for the site
- Manage staff welfare to include monthly individual 1-2-1's and monthly team meetings
- Manage the OCS online H&S portal
- Manage all HR related issues and escalation
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to the security team
- Manage health and safety of the team
- Manage S.O.P's for all work-related activities
- Manage monthly KPI reports
- Manage all policies, processes and procedures and oversee compliance from the team
- Manage the weekly fire system testing of client buildings, and fire evacuation drills
- Manage OCS Star Awards for site
- Liaise with tenants on the site
- Additional ad hoc tasks as may be requested by the Operations Manager or Client
Key Hiring Criteria:
- SIA License - MG as minimum, an SIA DS is preferred but not essential
- SIA CCTV PSS is preferred but not essential
- An IOSH qualification is preferred but not essential
- Experience of working in a managerial role or similar within the Security Industry is preferred but not essential
- Experience of working on large sites preferred but not essential
- Experience of working on Timegate is preferred but not essential
- Experience of working within a client-driven environment
- Effective communication skills both written & verbal
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- A professional demeanour
- Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and integrity
- A proficient level of computer literacy
- A full UK driving licence
