The Role
As an Accounts Administrator, you will be at the heart of their financial operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all tasks. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Bookkeeping: Recording financial transactions and maintaining accurate accounting records.
  • Credit Control: Managing customer accounts, monitoring payments, and ensuring timely collections.
  • Reconciliation: Reconciling bank statements, invoices, and accounts to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Administrative Support: Assisting with general office tasks, reporting, and documentation as required.

As the right candidate, you are a proactive and adaptable individual with the following skills and experience:

  • Qualifications: A background in accounting, finance, or administration (formal qualifications desirable but not essential).
  • Experience: Previous experience in bookkeeping, credit control, or a similar administrative role, preferably within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero/QuickBooks/Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.

This is a part-time role, working 18-24hrs per week, and our partner is happy for you to select which days, times work best for you.
