This prestigious professional membership body is looking to recruit a part-time Events & Meetings Administrator to manage the core administrative responsibilities within their regional office, including delivering engagement events and supporting integral committees.
Key Responsibilities of the Events & Meetings Administrator:
Plan and deliver regional engagement events, both in-person and virtual, in liaison with subject matter experts.
Provide logistical and administrative support to key committees, including undertaking minute taking responsibilities.
Contribute to the marketing of events, including preparing e-newsletters and updating the organisation’s webpages and social media.
Act as the central point of contact for all enquiries to the office, cascading information to members.
Reconcile payment reports and finance reports for the team, to feed into monthly management accounts processes.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Educated to degree standard, or with equivalent professional experience.
Previous work in a fast-paced administrative role, ideally including experience supporting committees.
Experience in, and enthusiasm for, event management and delivery, with exposure to budget management.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and work effectively to tight deadlines.
Ability to attend in-person events in London, including occasional evenings.
Salary and Benefits:
c£33,400 FTE.
Part-time (28hrs/week), permanent role.
Based in Central London office, with provision for remote working for part of the week.
