Our client a specialist provider of Residential Children's homes in Dorset who support young people age 12-17 to become independent and contributing members of society, by helping them to unlock their full potential and achieve their individual goals, are currently seeking dedicated and caring Support Workers to join their team and support their homes in Weymouth, Dorchester and Bournemouth

About you:-
The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working with young people and making a difference in their lives.
You will be able to engage the residents through praise, direction and calmness and have the ability to work with initiative, resourcefulness and passion in order to provide support as part of a motivated team.
Ideally you will have experience in a support worker setting and hold, or are working towards, a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent). However those new to the field who can demonstrate a strong passion towards improving young people’s lives and a desire to develop a vocation in support work are welcome as full training & ongoing support will be provided.
You are reliable, compassionate, and have excellent communication skills.
A driving license is required.

Hours will be flexible but ideally 33 hrs per week including 2 x sleep in's.
