As an HR Advisor, you will offer advice and support to line managers across a varied client base, applying a strong understanding of current and future employment law to each scenario. This is a true generalist role, however, we are looking for someone who is an ER specialist, who loves unpicking and resolving ER scenarios.
The role:
Providing advice and guidance to managers regarding all areas of HR areas following Company policy and current legislation (with an eye on future updates and practically applying these as applicable).
Support managers in dealing with performance, investigations, disciplinary, grievance and absence management.
Ensure Probation periods are fully utilised, for all parties to determine if the role is the right fit for them.
As part of the team, work across projects, such as system implementations, restructures, growth strategies, acquisitions and change management, culture change and more.
The applicant will:
Have previous experience working in an HR or ER role. With strong knowledge and evidence of the application of HR Practices, and policies aligned to employment law.
Able to make decisions and problem-solve.
Demonstrate the ability to escalate critical issues, when needed.
Have strong IT skills across Microsoft Packages, with a high level of IT literacy and experience of utilising technology to streamline processes.
Experienced in utilising HRIS to support business.
Dependable, responsible, and operates with integrity.
