Bookkeeper

• Salary: £25,000 to £28,000 pro rata & DOE

• Job Type: Part-time (9am to 3pm over 5 days with half an hour lunch)

We are seeking a part-time Bookkeeper with experience in Xero to manage the financial processing of invoices, expenses, and purchase orders. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented and proficient in financial reconciliation, looking to work in a structured yet flexible environment.

• Process approximately 80 financial transactions daily, including invoices and expenses.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
• Issue purchase orders and manage order confirmations.
• Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
• Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
• Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
• Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential.

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper.
• Strong experience with Xero accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in financial management.
• Ability to process a high volume of transactions accurately.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
