Day-to-day of the role:

•    Oversee the sales ledger, purchase ledger, and credit control processes.

•    Conduct bank reconciliations and manage cash flow effectively.

•    Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts to support business planning.

•    Prepare management accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting.

•    Handle VAT compliance and other statutory requirements.

•    Manage an Accounts Administrator, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operation of the finance department.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

•    Proven experience as a Finance Manager, particularly in overseeing financial operations such as ledgers and cash flow management.

•    Strong capability in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

•    Knowledge of VAT compliance and other financial regulations.

•    Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

•    Strong leadership skills with experience managing staff.

•    Proficient in financial software and Excel.
