Due to retirement, our client in Southminster are urgently looking to recruit a Senior Accounts or Financial Controller to join their established business in a Part Time capacity (circa 30 hour week).
The role will involve:
Manage cash flow, bank accounts and bank reconciliation
Prepare purchase ledger payment runs
Accounts to trial balance monthly
Monthly preparation of management accounts
Prepare and agree Annual budgets with Directors
VAT and Directors NI prep and pay
Oversee stock control and cost analysis
Prepare daily KPI reports
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Sage 200 accounts system
Liaise with external accountants re audited annual accounts.
The hours would ideally be 9 - 3 Monday - Friday, but this can be flexible. It is possible that some of the month end/annual procedures could be outsourced to a consultant to suit hours and experience. Salary to be agreed.
