You do not require vehicle routing knowledge to apply for the role as Transport Planner as full-training will be given, however, you must be computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook and be confident to manage your work to achieve timed daily duties

Hours of work:

Tuesday to Thursday: 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm

22 days + 8 Statutory holidays (pro-rata)

Transport Planner Duties:

  • Organising drivers and the fleet both on-site and at regional depots to meet scheduled deliveries across the country
  • Optimising fleet routing to enhance customer service while ensuring compliance with legal regulations regarding driver working hours and fuel usage
  • Supporting the Transport Team in various administrative duties as needed

Additional Desirable (but not essential) Experience:

  • Good national geographical knowledge
  • Experience in planning vehicle driving routes
  • A background in transport
