Accounts Assistant

Morgan McKinley is delighted to be partnering with a dynamic and innovative company based in the heart of Brighton, East Sussex. Our client is looking for interim transactional finance support until mid-Jan 2025.

Job title: Accounts Assistant - Temporary

Hourly rate: £14ph - £15ph + Holiday pay

Duration: till January 2025

Location: Brighton, East Sussex - Hybrid working

Responsibilities include:

  • Accounts payable - processing invoices
  • Accounts receivable - reconciling invoices
  • Weekly payment runs
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Reimbursing employees travel & expenses
  • Management of company credit cards
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Assist with month-end / year-end tasks
  • Assisting with ad hoc requests and the chance to get stuck into other finance projects as required

Skills and experience:
  • Proven purchase ledger, sales ledger - accounts experience
  • Available at short notice / Immediately available
  • Strong attention to detail
