A fantastic Infant School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 1 Teacher to join our vibrant team. Located in the heart of Surrey, just outisde Addlestone, our school is committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the Year 1 Teacher curriculum.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal development.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as necessary to ensure all pupils reach their full potential.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to promote a positive and cohesive learning community.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through participation in extracurricular activities, school events, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience as a Year 1 Teacher and working within setting is desirable, but not essential.
• Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for innovative teaching practices.
• Within travel distance of Addlestone.
