  • Salary: £23,000 - £27,000 per annum
  • Location: Tunbridge Wells
  • Job Type: Permanent, Part Time - 21 hours per week - flexible 

We are seeking a professional and hardworking Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a finance team in Tunbridge Wells. This role offers a fast-paced environment and the opportunity to work for a well-established brand during an exciting period of growth. 

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Processing purchase orders and allocating cost codes.
  • Entering supplier invoices promptly and accurately.
  • Creating new supplier accounts and maintaining existing ones.
  • Investigating and resolving purchase ledger queries.
  • Making supplier payments and managing cash flow.
  • Producing month-end BACS reports.
  • Reconciling supplier statements to ensure accuracy in accounts.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a purchase ledger position is essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good organisational skills to manage a variety of tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and supplier relations.
  • Strong IT skills, with proficiency in finance software and MS Office.
