Job Type: Part-time (Job-share, 14 hours per week)

Location: Bristol

Salary: £25,000 (10K Pro Rata)

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Property Services Team within the Curia of the Diocese. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of the department, providing essential support through various administrative tasks. The position is a job-share, requiring 3 days of commitment per week.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Provide front-line administrative support for the Property Services Department.
  • Produce and compile documents and reports using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Develop and maintain property databases and record systems.
  • Handle enquiries for the Holy Souls cemetery, including coordination of burials and ashes interment with families and funeral directors.
  • Undertake desk-based research and compile reports as required.
  • Assist in the administration of standardised licences, leases, and tenancy agreements.
  • Offer telephone and email support to parishes, schools, and other bodies, addressing questions and queries.
  • Develop and maintain filing and file-based record systems.
  • Organise meetings and events, including note-taking and minute-taking as necessary.
  • Provide hospitality for meetings and set up rooms.
  • Support other members of the Property Services team as needed.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by the Head of Property.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Well-organised with good time management skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
