Manchester City Council is seeking an experienced Adult Education Manager to oversee the delivery of apprenticeship assessments and training across various sectors. This role is crucial in providing high-quality education and support to adult learners in Manchester. We have three vacancies available, focusing on Level 3 Business Administration, Level 5 Teaching Qualification, and Level 2 & 3 Adult Care.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Manage and deliver apprenticeship programs in Business Administration, Teaching, and Adult Care.
- Assess and support learners throughout their apprenticeship journey to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with learners and employers to facilitate effective learning experiences.
- Conduct regular reviews with learners to track progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the needs and interests of learners.
- Travel to various teaching venues across Manchester as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A teaching qualification is essential.
- Subject specialism in Business Administration, Teaching, or Adult Care is essential.
- Assessor’s award is desirable but not mandatory.
- Ability to manage a caseload of learners effectively.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
